President Alpha Conde of Guinea yesterday called on Islamic faithfuls in his country to pray for his ailing Nigerian counterpart, President Buhari. In a statement released from his office and posted on the Guinean websites, President Conde asked all mosques in Guinea to devote yesterday's prayers to the quick recovery and "re-establishment” of his Nigerian counterpart.
President Buhari left for London on May 7th for medical treatment and has not been seen since then. The presidency is yet to disclose the kind of ailment affecting him.
